Anxiety disoder / panic and job?

I am out of job currently, and looking for a job that something I can do. I have lost confidence over the course of years that fact I have not been able to maintain job due to anxiety disorder / panic attacks. I can not take stress too well, and I have really been depressed at home feeling helpless. But I need a job and thought of what I may be able to do.. I noticed that if I had a friend as my partner I work well. I help my friend’s painting / contractor’s work some time, and I feel relaxed and enjoy working with him. I still do that whenever he needs me, but he lives about 2 hrs drive each way distance, and do not get job everyday. I need something locally, and something / anything I can enjoy day to day basis. I need help. Please give me your expertise advice. And please do not send me fake / work from home business web site.

I often get anxious over meaningless things, any advice?

(Sorry for my english, french is my native one)

Okay, I suffer of General Anxiety disorder, caused by stressful events over a span of 4 years, mixed with depression and low self esteem.
But the most annoying to me is the anxiety…

People tell me I need to give myself a break because I worry over small things…
It also makes me physically unconfortable… (yes, this is to this level…)

I had first panic attacks, but I was succeful at cheasing them away, but the anxiety is still there… :(

Can anyone give me some advices other than meds or a psychologist, because I want to get out of this stupid illness by myself, I want to be strong enough, and to vainquish this thing surely will bring me back the confidence I once lost…

Any kind of advice… sport, personal tips, etc…

Also, I have lost my former "enjoyement of life", I dont laugh anymore, while before, I used to be amused by silly things… (Seems like I knew the both extremes, lol…)
